HAWAI'I AMERICA250

Honoring America's History with Aloha

Hawai‘i’s America250 Celebration

On July 4, 2026, the United States will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence — a milestone known as America250. Though separated by ocean, Hawai‘i stands united with the nation in marking this historic occasion. Throughout 2025 and 2026, communities across the islands will reflect on our shared past, celebrate our diverse heritage, and honor our veterans and ancestors through events grounded in local culture and the Spirit of Aloha. The Hawai‘i America250 Commission, supported by our numerous Commemoration Partners, are leading efforts statewide to ensure our islands’ voices help shape this national commemoration.
